Are you feeling jealous by that peoples success? Jealousy is good sometime. It create motivation. But when thats too much then need to control. As you have lost 1.5 years of your life struggling to get admission you are feeling regret now. Its normal actually. You have to think what you can do now? You have to make priority or make routine for study and other activity. Try to not to compare with other because that doesn't give our-self good feelings.
